Supercross & motocross is such a brutal sport on ones body.My oldest son now 22 broke his back in 2000 practicing for nat champinship at ponca city OK. He managed to come back in 2001 To race there again. But he was no longer able to run at the front liked he had before. The top kids were just a tic faster. Sometimes it bothers him when he thinks he missed his chance. Because most of the kids in the lites class are the guys he raced against. Alessi,Lapaglia,& grant. But I am pround of him because he fordged on and rides for fun and has turned into a fast autocrosser.Scott.

Michael Lapaglia now I remember that kid!The only kid to show up in the Novice class with a Big Rig!
To bad to hear about your boy atleast he has his health.I think that happens to about 80% of the fast kids.Like you said it's a brutal sport.

I'm expecting a good race in PHX tonight! Have to say I'm pulling for number 7 this year.

I went last night in PHX had family in town. James looked real smooth & its hard to not like him he is a great kid. Chad was the only one with a chance of catching him so we were cheering him on.

Jonny51 are you JonnyO ? I wondered that from a post along way back.

That was a friggin awesome race. I hope the rest of the season goes like that. Man Canard sure took a digger!! Also it would be cool to see Dungey/Weimer/Lawrence givin the smackdown all the way to the end in the lites class.

Stewies bike still looked like the setup was not right, that thing was crazy in the whoops!

Anyone see Alessi & Villipoto get together? Wth?

Some great racing. It was funny to see J-Law experience a little Karma. The fued/drama between those two is making for some good entertainment.

I thought Reed looked great. Stewart still didn't look comfortable on that bike and it doesn't look like he can get the bike to rotate in the center of the corner. But, he still won, so what does that say. lol
