I always say a business takes at least 5 years to get on it's feet before you start to make money. So hunker down and watch those pennies in the beginning, it will suck now but be worth it in the end.

And don't forget you will be thinking about your company 24 hours a day.

I married well (she works in the health care field), but health care is a tough one. If you can't afford the full meal deal, I would probably add a major medical policy above and beyond whatever your wife's plan covers, that way you're much better off should the worst ever happen. You know what they say...if you have it you won't need it.

Thanks for the replys guys, this is the biggest issue that has faced our family since we moved to the States 10 yrs ago. We have looked at alot of plans and alot are expensive, pescriptions are our biggest delema, myself, wife and oldest daughter require monthly meds and so far all we looked at it's cheaper just to pay for the meds out of pocket then go with a plan. I just wondering the names of some of the plans you use and what deductibles are.

Default insurance

I have been in buisness for 20 years it took 80 -100 hours a week to make ends meet and after about 3-5 years it gets better you only have to work 60-80 hrs a week. I would not have it anyother way.

Or you could do what I do..........without!!!

But seriously, shop and research as much as you possibly can.
You'll find something decent eventually but it will cost, period.
