Default Neighbor's 56 Nomad

Hello all,
I have been lurking around this site for some time now, and since I don't currently have a project of my own right now, I thought I would share my neighbor's Nomad that I have been helping him with.
He bought the car about 5 or so years ago and had a pretty decent restoration on it so far. It had the ZZ4, Turbo 350, recent paint and interior, but needed a little more go juice so he had a local engine builder assembled a mild 468 and turbo 400.

The goody list:
468 BBC
Turbo 400
Vintage Air Gen4 system
Front Runner
605 gear box
CPP Front Disk conversion
CPP tubular upper/lowers
QA1's
Stainless brake lines
new fuel tank and sending unit
raingear wiper system
AAW Classic update kit
Ididit column
recently rebuilt GM 8.2 with auburn unit, 3.73, Toms axles and aerospace rear disc kit, (he got this rearend for $4oo from a friend) Crazy deals!
ETC!
So far, I have welded up 27 holes and blocked out the fire wall and smoothed most of the frame. The "Garage Painted," fire wall came out pretty good, so now we can stuff the drive gear in and start assembling the goody's.

For wheel choice, we decided that the grey center CL205's will be great for the look we are trying to achieve with this car. Of coarse if it were mine, I would be running some flat black Fiske's, Rushforth or something of that nature. I might also have every piece of chrome powder coated flat black.
We will save that for my project, if I ever get one.

From the research we have done so far, it looks like the rear wheels will be 17x8 with 4.5 backspace, front will be 17x7 with 4.25 backspace. 225/40 front with 255/35 or 40 rear.

Of coarse we will measure everything ourselves before we order, but has anyone ran anything wider in front or rear of these tri-fives? Without moving leaf spring, tubbing or notching frames? I tried talking him into it but he just will not do it.

Thanks,
DW
