I can build you a 8.5" if your interested. 12 bolts were under novas till 72, camaro's till 71, chevelles to 72. 8.5 were under almost all GM 71 and later - it was the new H/D rear end are you wanting to put it in the 55? the 72-78 novas had a 8.5 that would be the right width - just would need to have perches moved

That price seems high. I have an 8.2 out of a Chevelle that I can't give away, I now have to deliver it to get it out.

What kind of car do you plan using it in? Power?
