Sounds like a steal. You are way ahead of the game. Bellhousing is fine. But you will need a different converter. Shouldn't be too hard to sell that 3600 converter. That's too much stall for a pro-touring car anyway. Confirm the year of transmission. If you cannot confirm, give me a call and I'll talk you thru identifying your transmission input shaft. With the transmission side handled, the torque converter's front cover needs to match your gen 1 engine. That's the best way to get the job done.
