Ya know, forget I said anything. After being involved with some photographers and photography type things I'm seeing a side of things that is not and probably not going be popular to some.

I wasn't referring to the owner of the car, i was referring to the photographer. That's all.

You want to be compensated for being in a photo contest?? lol

Umm... ok

Robert McGaffin entered the PHR photo contest and it pretty much launched his carrer. I guess that was payment.

In any event, it's a fun contest and if an entrant is really good it can lead to other things.. what's not to love?

I tried to retract my statement, my opinion is obviously not popular so i'm not going to continue to argue my point.

And McGaffin went on to get the cover of Hot Rod Magazine with his shoot of Razor. I can't wait to see how his photoshoot went at Autokraft a few days ago.

I saw that photo, makes me wonder if he was scraping his knuckles on the ground to get that shot

this is cool!

I'll roll the Camaro in the back yard and get a shot - especially considering I just slapped a set of hot new Nitto tires on it with the Intro rims...AND will be needing some tires for my next Vette project!

since we moved we have a cattle field out back with creek/trees/pond - that should make a better back drop than my old yard below.

DOH...EDIT - no grass/gravel...DOH! okay...I can park it in the street in front of the cornfield (that is just sprouting)...

Scraping the ground??? HUH!!. Steven is right, winning the contest was payment enough, but I also won in many ways. I made alot of friends, especially with people here, and doing my dream job. I have always wanted to combine my love for photography and my passion for cars, now I am living it. I owe a debt of thanks for all who took a chance on me. So thanks.
