Hi again, All,
I took my car to the drags last night for the first time with the new motor. I ran 12.57 seconds at 119 MPH. My ET is so slow because I ran on BFGoodrich T/A's. 245x60x15. I think that MPH means I really am putting out 575 HP (at least) at the motor!

I'm so stoked, as I haven't yet dynoed the car. And yes, I'm building a Pro-Touring car, but there's nothing that says you can't drag race, too, right?
I purchased DSE mini-tubs and a Vintage Air Front Runner kit from Frank at Prodigy Customs. Hopefully the parts will come in early next week so I can get the Vintage kit on the car and ready for Hot August Nights. I'll post some pictures once it's installed.
For those who don't know about my car, and the wreck it was when I started restoring it, here's the link to my introduction:

Here's a recent link of my mechanic doing an idle and then drive by in my car (with the new motor). He does a rolling burnout in second gear in front of the camara.
