Wow. My post was heavily edited by the moderators here after I requested it be left up as it was.
I had much more to say, people to respond to, things that needed clearing up, but that is obviously not going to happen while the powers that be decide who gets free speech, for how long, and by which side they see as more justified.
As far as this issue between Steve Norton and myself, he already agreed to a resolution on Wednesday, and now he decides to change his mind.
This is why I find these type of exchanges bullsh*t. It doesn't matter what I do to fix the issue, I get ****ed. Using a 3rd party website for a primary form of communication to get a hold of a company is not the way to handle issues. DIRECT contact with us through OUR site, email or phone should be how you resolve this in the future. If AFTER you go through those channels you get no response, then the forums are useful. Steve decided to do it the other way around. He chose not to contact us directly, he did not email me, he did not call my company, he PM'd me on a board that I had no access to at the time he was seeking an answer. I did have access to my email and my phone calls, but they were not used. You can liken this to be similar to this situation:
You have an issue with you new iPhone you purchased at the Apple Store. When you want to inquire about why it didn't have the charger in the box, you go to Best Buy and ask them about it. When Apple don't respond, you tell everyone inside BestBuy that the Apple Store sucks, when they have no idea you even had an issue.
Steve-
You agreed to a resolution already; I'm honoring it. You've made your case and I listened, contacted you, offered as many ways as I could think of to make you happy and it's never enough. The deal we made will stand. I'm not going to do any thing more for you. You've already told me you modified your spindles, and purchasing a different set on PT.com is not a return of the product I sent you.
You had that opportunity, passed it up and made a choice. Live with it like I get to.
