Considering a funny car body is $40,000 to $50,000, I suspect many will go limp when we get pricing. The real question will be why do one of these instead of a Ultima, or other ?

Like Scott said, more info would be great here. Are they building a limited production, one off's, or what's the deal? They look cool (without the ricer wing) though.

Ricer wing? Does the Le Mans winning C6R look ricey? The power to weight ratio that they advertise, with what looks to be improved aero, should do well in excess of 200 mph. I'd like a little more down force than a Camaro trunk spoiler at those speeds...wouldn't you?

Why build a '69 Camaro style car instead of an Ultima?

I would guess some prefer the style of a '69 over an Ultima. I prefer the style of a 1st gen Camaro 10 fold over an Ultima.

That is wicked looking. I could probably afford the Factory Five supercar kit before I could afford a carbon fiber 69 though.
