It was a last minute deal for me. They will work perfect for tie downs in my enclosed trailer. Fabricating a new bracket off the rear frame rail is probably a good idea.

I originally bought the Hooker Super Comps for my big-block power steering '69 and because they were a "direct fit", but when I put them in, I couldn't put the lines in the top of my steering box.

I sent them back and bought the regular Comp headers with the same sized tubes and they fit with just a minor dimpling of the #3 tube. they ended up being way cheaper because they weren't "guaranteed to fit" like the first set, and they fit almost like a glove but I did need to run the Moroso solid mounts.

Got the rear spoiler in from Jake at Jakes Rod Shop. Should come in handy, I've noticed a spoilerless camaro is real lofty in the rear end above 140mph. Hopefully this will help.

Its just a test fit for now. Sending it out for powder coating. I'm thinking black or possibly even color matching it, will see after showing some friends.

Dane, hurry up and test that wing at 140 so you can give a report--then I won't think "show" anymore--

When are you headed out to Button Willow again? Any hard dates on the calendar?

Ha ha....I figured you were heading down to cars and coffee tomorrow. Looks racey and you know I like that! I will say that I don't think it would look that great on my car.

looks great Dane. Color match the base, then have upright partial satin black powder coated, revealing some aluminum would look sick.
let us know what you decide

Cool man. Looks good, and I'm sure you will see a difference at those speeds. Also noticed the Guildstrand tag frame, nice.
