Congrats on building such a unique and excellent car. This is one of those cars I saw initially and thought it was very nice, and it keeps popping up and drawing my interest even further. Too many cars today seem to come and go, but this one has some staying power. Nice work!

Saw pictures of this car in PHR at work. Absolutely SICK car! I wonder about the structural integrity of that rotors though I am sure they thought of that during the process.

If you don't mind me asking, what was it about the failing economy that put the rush on? Just the fact that it might take another 5 years or something or the thought of you maybe having to sell it? Just curious!

Once again thank you for all your posts on my car. With regards to the failing economy quesition:

How much money do you think in your opinion that people spend building these cars? For example, it is my understanding that the SOM of the year winner spent between 500,000 to 900,000 on the car. I built this car myself, and without any sponsors, additional funding or big name builders working on my car, I had to decide what was the limit on the amount of additional money and hours (unpaid) I was going to put into this car, and not get myself into a financial situation that could be to my disadvantage in this economy as it is. So do we actually get those dollars back out of the car? The car show sponsors do not give out cash awards, only trophies and bragging rights. As for if this car is for sale......eveything is for sale when I feel the time is right.

Just to update the info on the car....it is called "Roadkill"

The rotars are vented and 1 and 1/4 inches thick. The teeth are cut in between the vents. The sawblade idea is from the cartoon: the coyote and his ACME sabatoge shipments of ways to catch the roadrunner.

Is that toned down pro stock engine or as is?

What compression and cam?

988 lift cam, 14:1 compression. This is de- tuned for a pro stock engine if you are thinking it is not driveable, It is driveable, it has 50 miles on it. I built the car with this engine to give a new trist on a Mopar streetcar. I drove it 10 miles just crusin' around town, giving people rides. However it is not economical on fuel, it runs 114 SUNOCO race fuel @10.00 per gallon. 50 gallons in May is now gone.

Most people don't know what it is......at least at the Mopar Madness show, because they haven't ever seen one up close.

First off, the car looks awesome.
I am looking for suspension options for my car, I have been researching tubular K-members with coil overs and rack and pinion steering, I was wondering what components of the viper front suspension you used, and how it works for you.
