Opinions on Satin vs Gloss Carbon Fiber??
I am looking to install a bunch of Anvil carbon parts on my 69 Camaro and like the look of the Satin finish vs the gloss finish but am a little unsure. I want to install the front spoiler, header panel, hood, cowl panel, rear trunk and rear spoiler. The car had incorrect Z/28 stripes applied several years ago and I want to go back in the direction of the SS hockey sticks but a full paint job is a few years away. What do you guys think?

My carbon fiber hood and chin spoiler were both gloss at first, but are now flat (PPG Flex n Flat) and I think it's WAY better.
I probably have some before and after pics of each that I could post...

Satin for sure.
Nice car BTW. It will look better with the hockey stripes IMO, especially with the SS hood.

That would be great! I really like the raw industrial look of the satin carbon. The gloss just seems to be a little too "plastic" looking for me.

As Scott above, I had gloss cf and then sprayed flat clear over the parts............ way cooler looking, I would never go back to gloss.

With the carbon hood I would have to switch to the Cowl style. The SS hood would disappear since they don't make that style in carbon.

I personally like the satin even though I'm not a huge carbon fiber fan.

Is that the Anvil hood? Full carbon or glass/carbon?
