Now.... we are talking... this is what would work great, and this is how i would build the sub frame for the rear that i dreamed up. I dont think i could find one thought, there a little more scarse than a corvette, but we'll see what i can dig up.

EDIT: actually thats from a cobra 99-04, and they are very very very cheap. Jacob, I owe you a drink! i could go for this and make if fit with little effort

If you still had a desire to use Corvette stuff with a Viper diff, here's your diff. I got mine this cheap, but it was completely disassembled and now I've got to get it together. Wishing I would have waited...

Here's the website I think Deuce was talking about. It is a C-5 set-up with a Viper differential built to fit early Corvettes -- good construction pictures. The link was buried in a thread titled "Vette Suspension in a Nova" in the suspension threads (Feb 7th by Sartran). That thread contains a pros/cons discussion of C-4 and C-5 based suspensions.

Good luck with your project.

Pappy

If you are still looking for a C5 Differential adapter plate to run a front mounted trans check out Hot Rod Jim and his PT-57. A majority of his builds and projects have to do with C5 and C6 Corvette stuff. He has a build thread on this board in the project section. Check it out.
