Default Turn 11 double apex

You are correct, for my car the lap times are faster with the double apex at turn 11. I can get on the throttle faster and carry more speed into turn 12 than 1.

My old Fox Mustang was faster that way through 11 too. Too many marbles going high and late on turn in for a nose-heavy Mustang. The trick with my car was to trail brake and rotate the rear on turn in and then jam the throttle to keep the car from pushing through the second half of the corner.

... and that speaks to my point about having high HP cars able to take other lines - when you can steer with the pedals things are more "interesting". Given you guys have the power to do it then I believe it to be faster. I know the AIX guys take the dual apex as well, just depends on power and driving style.

When I listened to the audio of the car in the vid, the car has the power, but I can hear that Jack is way off power for a long time to make that turn with his driving style - you need to stay out a little bit... hard to describe but you really tuck in tight before the first of the 2 apexes so you are way off to get the car rotated. You need to apex that first from a bit further out. I know I can find an AIX vid somewhere to 'splain it better...

A ha, got lucky and the first one I found had what I am talking about. Jack, watch your section of the vid as you enter the turn and watch where this car is when he enters, and listen to the throttle between the two apexes. this is how I would take that turn, and have to admit, I forgot that dual apex (been a LONG time for me to be on Sears... back when it was Sears ). Watching the in car on Jack's made it look like one big sweeper but then I started watching the AIX vids and remembered what that was like.

Here are snapshots showing how much different the entry is. So while I agree I wouldn't swing out like the Porsches did, I was trying to make the point to move out and attack it differently. Finally had some time to dig out example links.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyxsXR4Nc7g once I get going I get watching vids and not working haha, here is another good one for showing the proper line thru that turn. I used to find the fastest guys on the track and then beg them to tow me around so I could see what they were doing... youtube makes it all the easier to find stuff!
