Default New member, new project...

Hey everyone, just wanted to take minute to inroduce myself and my 67 chevelle project. Ill try to get some pics up soon until then here is the scoop;
this is my first car project, I have built several late model trucks and after selling the last one decided to finally build my dream car. Going for the Pro Touring look/style. Not a big fan of original/oem look or parts not knocking then just not my thing. Pretty much if it came from the factory it wont be in this car. From what I've read so far I think I'm on the right forum. My biggest problem being new to the car world is not knowing the market place, who's products are good, value vs. price, etc. so I'll be looking to the pro's here for insight. So far the body is stripped down off the frame and is currently being mineral blasted. Upon it's return I'll finish smoothing the firewall and the rust repair. I plan on doing as much of the work as I can myself only subbing out finish body work (no paitence) and paint. So thanks in advance for the help and for putting up with my questions.

Looks like a nice project Jeriah!

I like the 66 hoods on the 67's -- it's unique! LOL

You came to the right place if you like to work on cars - and not have them stock....

Welcome!

Jeriah you are in the right place. Welcome to Lateral-G. Don't worry about not knowing the market place. Ask lot's of questions and you will get a lot of help. We've got a really great community when it comes to that.

The pictures look great and I am looking forward to seeing the build progress.

Hi Jeriah!!!!!
So what's the latest? I know the frame is at the striper right now. Did the guy call you to pick the body up yet. Come on details, you are getting more done to your car than I am.

I am happy to see you finally got your 67' chevelle!!
