But you could say the Delrin is not the right material as it absorbs moisture and cause corrosion of the frame and floor pan.

Whoaa...easy. Nobody is creating non-existing problems. We all know that we have to polish our wheels to keep them from corroding and that is an acceptable trade-off we understand and are willing to accept. What a lot of people don't know is that aluminum against steel has an electrolytic effect that causes corrosion. Additionally it's a product mounted under the car, subjected to the worst environment, and typically forgotten about once installed. Is a little corrosion a huge problem? Maybe not but the fact that Delrin does not corrode IS a selling feature worthy of mentioning in a press release. I think if someone was looking to purchase an item (such as the OP) most would want to know the pro's and con's of each option...
