Mark Williams made the axles. The stock ones were .060 to small to respline. a little pricie because they had not done any yet. Something else pretty cool, the peddals out of a c-6 brake, clutch and gas fit pretty nicely in a first gen.without much mods and moves the corvette booster over 3 inchs for more motor clearence

Awesome project Bob! In hindsight of everything I've modded on my '69, your approach may end up being less work LOL! But seriously, it's great to hear how everything is fitting and what needs modification. You'll have the best of both worlds IMHO. Among the advantages you get to run the ABS, stock drysump, brakes plus no messing with new transmission etc.

Will you be running the stock BCM and instruments? Doing a custom harness or will you be able to adapt the stock one?

I'll be watching to see how you get on tackling the cooling and intake with the front of the '69.

So many questions.....

By the way - you are doing a great job of updates and pics - keep 'em coming Bob!

G.

I've taken the stock corvette complete wiring and spent MANY hours weeding the unneeded wires. I'm using the ABS,traction control, heated seats, power seats out of the corvette, keyless start, power door locks with electric door latches, and the corvette guages with digital display. I'ts taken me 3 months to wire it and now i'm cross eyed. Bob
