Life is good!
I am surprised at how quickly my fuel tank goes down! But who wants to drive slow when you've got a muscle car?
We really never had it on the road much to begin with since it was December when we bought it (and had just gotten 14 inches of snow). So I think we've put on more miles in the last week than the previous 7-1/2 months! Which is kinda sad, but we just had one thing after another to deal with until we found the cracked block. That was a depressing day.

Just got the timing adjusted today (it was 5 degrees off) and now the new carb will need a little adjusting, but other than that, we should be good to go! Of course it would be nice to have our vintage air installed with this fabulous August heat & humidity. After all the mechanical stuff is adjusted, that's next!
But in all reality, all I'd need is a cool old car, a big block, a manual tranny and an open road! Life is good!
