Is that the car that was on this or PT.com for sale a year or so ago? I like it...

Maybe a OD conversion is first. You won't be doing 70 with King kiss ass Renner. Even though I think he still has a 3 speed?

Oh yeah. That is definitely the first major thing to address IMO. And like I was talking to you before - possibly put a hydraulic roller cam in place of the big nasty solid roller.... some improved low speed torque and drivability would be kinda nice. But.... maybe after awhile an LS/T56 swap could be in my future....

Renner and his pro street, I mean, pro touring 69 with 24's? Does he use the line lock when he takes off for his auto-x runs?

A couple more pics of caging, trunk/fuel cell, and suspension.

No, I think he just took off the right rear drum brake which gives him the same effect.

BTW, I really like the car and its "all business" look. I don't know how many owners it has had but I remember driving behind it for a while on my way back from the Pomona swap meet several years ago. It definitely has a presence on the road.

Ahhh good ole Renner.

Thanks Matt. I know of 3 owners (I got one big ass folder/binder of receipts and paperwork for each one, which is nice).

So what did this thing look like when you saw it down there? I thought it's been a local Norcal for quite awhile but maybe not...

Can't remember the details too much, as it was a few years ago, but it looked about the same I think. The wheels might not have been blacked out back then. For some reason I think it used to have a set or red hash mark stripes over the side of the fender too, but I could be wrong. Either way, it looked pretty nasty driving down the road.

I'm glad it went to a good home.
