Ahhh... where to begin. Plans shifted a little, but making some slow progress...

Going up on the Fab Table:

Perimeter rail installation begun:

Floors marked:

3" section removed in order to insert the rail, but keep the car sqaure until it is tack welded down to the table:

Next, clean up the actual area where the perimeter rail will be welded to the car, tack weld to the table at ride height, and remove the rest of the floor...

We'll see how much time I get in the next few days/weeks..

Default Scott's Hotrod's IFS

The Scott's Hotrods IFS was next. Note that the mounting location was moved up into the car 3”, essentially lowering the front end by that much and getting that low and mean stance:

Leveled and tacked to the table:

Nice swap - I spy 08+ Z06 Competition Grey wheels... and some boxers on the pass side door jamb... hahaha.

Is that an LQ4 or LQ9 engine?

Lq4 vs LQ9.... Good question. It is out of a 2008 Trailblazer SS, but I haven't had a chance to run the numbers to confirm which. Supposedly, it puts out 400hp, but I didn't find anything conlusive to confirm which version it is.

Can anyone help with that?

Good catch on boxers... Go Green... Recycle, Re-Use!!

Matt,
Thanks bud. My first measurements on the TQ tube show that it should be perfect!
