Mine was the exact same way. I did some measuring before I blew mine apart and could'nt believe the differences from right to left. Some areas were as much as 10mm to 12mm differences. The cars today have only a 3mm tolerence in some areas to work with.Body tolerences were'nt a concern back in the day.As I put my rockers on Im finding out more about how these cars are put together and its a little scary. Rocker damage is hard to hide. So if the rockers have'nt been damaged,or any other critical area such as the cowl. Than I'm sure your shop will know what to do. From what I'm looking at these guy know what there doing thats for sure .Its coming along ,can't wait to see it complete..
