I think the LT1 is a great motor but this thing needs and LS7 or LS9.
So, uh...who wants to donate one?

Tony---is it scheduled for this coming Monday (13th) to arrive? Garage looks great btw. It's like a parent expecting the new arrival of their kid--they paint the room and get ready for their new life---except this arrival is way more expensive-- Happy for you man---this is great stuff---

Not talking from experience here but in the long run I think it will be cheaper.

Karma has most certainly cost more so far! But after college I'm sure Bryce will win!

I just got off the phone with the driver, what a great guy! He will be here Sunday...for sure he says! This has taken a little longer than it would have a couple years ago due to the economy (lack of cars being sold, ect.). It takes a few extra days to fill the trailers with cars as they move around the country. Years ago they would have done a trip like this in a few days, these days they say it could take 10-14 days. There just aren't as many cars needing moved around anymore....it's all understandable.

FWIW, he said that the car is flawless and the color choice is perfect for the car! I'm more than excited! Is it Christmas yet!?

So...who's coming over on Sunday?

As cool/fun as a LS motor would be, it's not going to happen. The members here as well as our sponsors have done more than enough! WAY beyond what we ever could have dreamed! And for that we are forever thankful!

At this point I want to get it put together and share it with as many of you as I can! Trust me when I say it was a group effort that saved our car/dream with Pete being the ring leader and that will never be forgotten!

With that said, I do agree that a newer LS motor would be sweet and balance the car better in both design and performance...I will head down that path one day....just not any time soon!
