Cris, this is an awesome build to say the least, but PLEASE tell me where you got that heater delete panel? If you fabbed it, PLEASE say you can make another!!! NOBODY has a heater only delete for a 2nd Gen. DSE has one for 1st Gen and an A/C-Heater delete for 2nd Gen. I have scoured the internet looking for one.

Can't wait for more pics on this killer build.

Thanks guys! I have the car sitting in the middle of my shop & everytime I pass by it .. I puts a big smile on my face.. Now the next stages to follow..

The punch list: I just ordered the engine mounts & steering shaft kit to set up the motor & transmission so that my buddy that used to work @ Borla can come over & make jigs for the headers & mandrel bend a set of custom headers.. build a transmission support that ties into the body.. The goal is to run the car @ the stance it is.. bit lower in the front.. More than likely I will have to cut the tranmission tunnel all the way to the back for the driveshaft..
Cut for muffler clearance.. goal is to stuff exhaust on the underside as much as possible.. Rick's gas tank on the way! I think! Plumbing.. 4 point cage, firewall to fender support bars.. My radiator from AFCO arrived last week..

Engine will be a small block 406 with a T56 for the time being.. LS engine is to come in the future.. QMP will be building me a 427 motor! but for now I just want to get the car done.. I don't want to go for another year or two till I get it done.. I have my 69 that I have to finish that has been put on the back burner till I get this one done..

Wow! Nice build Cris. I'll have to come by and see it in person next time I'm out visiting Marty. I can't wait to see more progress. I bought Marty's Green 70 Z28 and started working on it last September. Keep the ideas coming.......
