Dang, that car is clean underneath. You drive that thing? I like where you have it for weight distribution. Definitely smart insurance for any track car that's not dry sump. The only thing I want to add just for folks finding this in the future is the oil pan should be your first line of defense. Meaning, I'd buy a road race pan or appicable pan before the accumulator.

Not enough. Last time I was working under the back of the car(once again) my wife came out to the garage and saw my legs sticking out from under the car and laughed. She said it looked like the car was giving birth to me. I said, "No honey. I was working on the engine and it swallowed me, digested my soul, and now it's taking a dump."

Thank god RTTC is near.

Thanks for the write up !
i also run the 4 quarts pan in my VI big block, the accusump looks like a great insurance as speed rises.

Thanks for the nice writeup I plan on doing the same thing for my BBC if I have any oil starvation issues when I finally get running and on the track. Glad to know you can run the long lines to install this in the trunk if needed.
