Been a while since I updated this. We took a short break on the project, but we've been back on it for a little while now.

Finished up the splash piece of the passenger inner fender.

Built a coil cover piece for the drivers side of the engine.

Hard to see it down there.

We thought that it needed something in the upper front corner of the engine bay to even it out since the coolant bottle is on the opposite side. We didn't need another bottle, so we decided to make a small tool holder/fuse cover. All of the large fuses for the main car and stereo are behind the fake bottle and in it will be all of the tools necessary to remove almost all of the panels under the hood.

We had to relieve and conceal the screwdriver inside a "dummy" cap which will match the real coolant bottle cap perfectly (after 6 notches get milled into it).

6 notches milled at 2.9 degrees (don't ask me, GM did it that way).

Bitchen work

Who would have thought a late model truck engine bay could look so good.
