spi is now shipping their black epoxy with added uv protection. it seems this has been the downside to epoxy since it will turn "chalky". it may be a good solution.

i also had this decision to make, but since i cant get a powdercoater to match my color i have to do it in paint.

I did mine in powdercoat and then paint. Welded in the bumper mounts and shaved the bolt heads. Came out perfect.
