Dave,

I think it all depends. It sounds & looks like you have an awesome project going and it also sounds like you have a great group of friends interested in your project. If financially there is an issue I would say sell it. I would hang onto the car and finish the car out later. 6-8 months isn't that long to put a project on hold. Another thing you can consider is you probably won't make as good of return on what you have in the car if you sell it in the middle of a restoration, that is just going to depend on who you find to buy it. I say hang on to it and finish it out later.
