The standard SS hood would not fit so I had to get a cowl hood. I still had to cut the interior front center brace to clear the the throttle body. I then stripped off about 8 coats of paint and primer. The rattle can primer is to hold it over until the paint guy is ready.
I chose the Centerline Lazers for wheels. I went with 18X8 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear. Still need brakes installed but I will wait until after paint so I can put the stock 14s back on. I dropped the front 2 inches with Hotchkiss springs. I am still tweaking the stance on the rear springs.
I has been a while since I posted updates. I finally got the project to the body shop. The stripped and media blasted the car. They place a quick primer on it to protect it from rusting.
Here are some shots of test fitting and aligning panels. It won't be too long and I have to choose a color. So Far I have Jet Black, Carbon Metallic Black and HOK Candy Apple tint coat with gold pearl in it.
