This is the 69 I mention on the other thread https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=32467
Some of the highlights:
Billet firewall
One piece billet grill
All corvette suspension reworked in brush nickel
Over $98,000 in brush nickel alone!
Half of the roof is from a 65 Chevy impala
All glass was made for it
Chopped top and pancaked
Indy air jacks
Full bell pan, you can't see anything underneath at all
Headlight and tail light were one off, over $10,000 on them.

The shop is Spitzer Composites http://www.gospitzer.com

They are currently building a 1970 Cuda and Challenger.

The Challenger will have a complete carbon monocoque tub like the Indy cars!

They built a great 8 Ridler roadster a couple of years ago.

Wow what an insane group of cars. I am usually not loving more than a handful but this is well beyond that! Would be fun to be there.

That 69 RR is ridiculous!

At least someone took pictures, I just drooled. I can't pick a fav yet, need more drool time, but the Runt just does it for me, for some reason...

It's an awesome event this year. Just being there has a special feeling. Probably why I couldn't remember to use my freakin camera!

I concur, but I don't think we have the same opinion of what ridiculous is.

Congratulations and thanks to the owners and builders for providing us an example of what can be done with an unlimited budget. Hopefully some of the nicer pieces and bits will trickle down to be used on some of our "Joe Touring" cars and trucks.
