Hey man, love the bird....how do you like the ProCar seats so far? I know you don't have much to go on but was considering the same ones.

Thanks, it was my second set of rims. The first set that I bought did not fit at all. From now on I will do all of my own measuring.

Sooooooooooooooo much patience!!!! Sand, prime, sand,,,,prime again,,,,,sand some more and more again !!! Its getting seriously straight tough no?

I always wanted to ask, did you chop it yourself? The cut is so right on....

Keep it up man, mine is hitting the street in max 2 weeks... (waiting on new wheels problem and a distributor replacement, need the exhaust hung up --after wheel shows up--and thats it!!!)

Looking at your painted sheetmetal valve covers makes me think i might do mine....

Lead.

Thanks Lead!
And good luck on your build love your ride you have to get some pics of it soon!
And as for the top its not chopped, i do get asked that alot though lol
It does have the leaning forward b-pillars that give it that appearance its just that swoopey Fleetline body style.

Appreciate the comments ive had a few people ask about the ride dont post much of the build being its not a touring car but non the less all built in my garage lol.
Its a marriage of race car & street rod!

Its a Solid roller 406
11.6.1 mahles
Lunati VooDoo 243-249 @.050 595"
1.5 harlands
Scat crank and 6" rods
Pro-filer 210's 2.08-1.60's
by Chad Speiers, chad also ported my hurricane intake
1" hvh 750 mighty demon flows 825
melleing selct pump 7 quart pan
cloyes billet double roller
MSD billet dist with 6AL and ss coil
narrowed 9" 4.56 gears with a 4-link on shock wave air ride

Car has a ton of subtle smoothing through out it deburred the entire block and painted it body color body has had a good bit of changes complete front end has be fabricated smooth inner fender wells no visible bolts under the hood fender wise etc also like removed the locks left the handles, welded the fenders to the car front end is a complete tilt forward untit aswell as a top side tilting unit.
Custom built valance panels flipped the bumpers moved them closer to the body and sectioned the rear bumper 3"s
smoothed dash and door jambs custom built wrap around console. complete belly pan under the rear of car with flip down plate on rear lol.
Yeh the list goes on crazy sheeeet and i wonder why im not finished yet!

Heres a few pics been a fun but lengthy project but getting closer lol
Thanks again guys
