Default Bullet Side Mirrors

I am looking to put bullet side mirrors on my car much like the ones on Red Devil, anyone have an experience with them? do I need new mounting holes? and also where would be the best place to locate a pair? Thank you in advance!

Yes to new mounting holes but if you have a 68 or 69 Camaro the bullet mirror's mounting flange will ususally cover the factory ones. I believe Mark Steilow likes to use the mirrors from a 73-77 Chevelle but, 2nd gen Camaros will work. They are a little bit smaller than the 73-77 Chevelle.
Ebay is probably the best place to find a set.

Just an FYI, the 2nd Gen F-body bullet mirror footprint is slightly smaller than the stock chrome mirrors, so if you're planning on adding the mirrors to an already finished car, you my have rubs and mars in the paint from the stock base gaskets that won't be covered by the bullet mirror base gaskets. Just something to be aware of.

Thanks Scott, the car should be in paint in the next few weeks so should be ok with that but would the second gen mirrors cover the exisiting holes?
