Thanks!

I talked to my buddy Buster ( he's my travelin buddy I drag him everywhere ) and we figured the best way for us to do it is we'll leave on Thursday night about 9pm with the trailer to avoid traffic. That will get us to MCC at about 11am Friday. Then I'll ask Mike if I can leave the trailer there and either load it that day or Feiday, and pick it up Saturday morning so we can get some sleep for the drive home. its almost 15 hour drive and thats without stopping to eat or stoping to use the head, this way he has plenty of time to finish what he needs to do.

Waiting for the axles and assemble rear and install in car.
Install sub frame and front sheet metal which has already been fit.
Paint my glove box door and ashtray
Get all my extra parts together. and I think thats it.

Wayne, your build looks great. Keep moving forward.

What do you plan on using in the area where your quarters meet the roof?

Thanks
When Mike finishes welding them up there's not much left to do but he is the one getting it ready for paint so I'm not sure what he uses. I would guess its just filler.

I talked to Mike today and discussed about when I get there Friday the 26th I'll either leave the trailer there and get a room for some sleep and load it Saturday or if I get there early enough load it and lock it up there and get the room and meet Mike Saturday to hook up and leave for home.

I'm going to use a U Haul open trailer because I don't have access to one thats enclosed. I'm not too crazy about that. The bottom is finish painted and the center of the trailer is open to the road. I'm thinking of trying to put something across the opening to protect the bottom of the car. I was thinking maybe some plywood with 2x4"s screwed together pinching the trailer ramps. Any one have any ideas????
