I too did mine the hardest way. I cut up (with an die grinder) the replacement inner rear wheel wells and then mocked it up in my car, then made a cardboard template to fill in the void, then cut metal strips (with the same die grinder), sanded, trimmed and did my best to have it fit. then welded it all together. I repeated the process for the other side.
