John,
It sounds like the clutch is not disengaging. I had a similar situation about a month ago. My car sat in a dampish garage for 3 months when I got in pushed down the clutch put it in neutral started the car. Pushed clutch in and wont go in any gear. I new immediatly the clutch disk married itself to the flywheel even though the pressure plate pulled away. Some friction materials built into the disk can develope a bit of corrosion over time in the right conditions and stick to the flywheel. All I did was shut the car off in first gear and rock the whole car back and forth and it popped free.

Did yours run well prior to putting it away last?

Is it a hyd bearing or manual linkage?

Rich
