Does the C-10 have a rs performance IRS in it? If not, what kind of suspension are you running in it?
The truck has a 9" with parallel 4-bar rear suspension. We built the truck before we had completed the Fast Track IRS unit. There are some build pictures where you can see various pics of the chassis on our web site. http://www.roadstershop.com/current-...t-1970-pick-up
Yes, it is an ABS electric brake unit. We have used several of them so far and really like them for cars that aren't going to see a lot of track time. They are a hair on the touchy side, but no where near as sensitive as some of the hydraulic units we have used in the past. The pedal feel is great for a street car, I would say OK for a track car. I still prefer a manual brake set up for track and auto x use for better modulation and pedal feel.
I would relate the ABS unit to a new foreign car. Have an Audi A4 and it is a real similar feel.
Here is one for the hot rodders on Lateral-G. Just wrapped up this 34 3-window using a SAR body for a customer on the east coast. We chopped the top, mounted all of the sheet metal, fabbed the exhaust and mounted all of the other components to get it ready for body and paint. The customer is going to finish the car himself, just needed all of the fab work completed.
