Default Help choosing stripe layout needed

My car is getting painted this week and I am rethinking my paint design. I planned the car out in 2008 and since then the paint scheme has been used quite a few times on different cars. Id like something original but I am not that creative so a little help doesnt hurt. The hood, cowl, header, trunk, and spoiler is carbon and there was a TON of work making it fit right so I would like to show that its carbon. The black paint is already ordered so it needs to stay black. Maybe I should remove the red stripes and just have carbon ? Or should I just stick to my original plan? Heres the rendering Steve and Ben let me use a couple years ago:

I say leave it as is...I like it. Besides, it's sorta hard to do something no one else hasn't done. Not saying you can't do something different, but it's only so many ways to do strips and make it look good. So, per your rendering, I like it. Especially, how they flare out towards the rear of the hood.

You could use a silver instead of the red. It will match the trim and the wheels.

I'm not a big fan of the carbon fiber showing through on the exterior. Just to Euro and trendy for my taste. This is one of those deals where time may not treat it kindly. Now, I do like it for the function, weight reduction. How about exposing it on the bottom side and painting the color stripes you like. Painting a car is a big deal, pay Ben to slap some different color stripes on the car before it's final.

Personally I would leave what you have.

Just for kicks I did this. Please excuse my terrible photoshop its late and I just wanted to throw an idea out there. Imagine the stripes done on both sides and the strips are uniformly spaced and probably a little wider to show more carbon fiber.

How about gunmetal, charcoal stripes? If you still want some red, do a very skinny 1/16" red next to gunmetal or silver to give it some depth dimension.
