I have one of the earliest (pre-Wayne Due) clips out there and it is impressive to see how far the design has come in the last seven or eight years. For example, it looks like Wayne Due saved some weight in the frame horn area (where the bumper mounts) and the main crossmember looks reinforced. Looks like it accepts taller shocks, too. I could keep going on.

Now if only one of these clip manufacturers would add a front jacking point forward of the main crossmember. I absolutely hate jacking up the front of my car--especially with the front spoiler. And I already have a low profile jack. The old 2x4 trick is okay, but not if the car is disabled or disassembled.

Hey Scott,
Just for the hell of it, measure the witdh to the outside of the main (forward) frame rails. My old clip measures 37.25" wide.
