Anyone running solid mounts?

I finally found some 2" setback plates but they are solid (well they have the poly ones but they sit the motor too high)

Am I going to regret going solid mounts on a twin turbo wild cam car?

I have solid mounts on my turbo LS and didn't notice any increase in vibration. I do have a mild cam though...

It is my understanding that solid mounts will cause false hits on your knock sensors.

I'm running solid mounts as well. I didn't notice much of a difference either. Also, make sure you run a poly trans mount I have heard you can crack the tranny case tailshaft if you run all solid.

By using the solid I get that extra 1/4" drop down on my motor. I really need that so my manifold clears the hood.

With twin turbos, I really think you will need solid mounts. Poly or Rubber will give way eventually.

i had solid mounts on mine with the twins....yeah poly for the tranny,i had a t56

Maybe run a solid on the drivers side and poly on the passenger side? I have a solid on the drivers side and rubber on the passenger and the engine moves to much for my taste.
