Door speakers with Marquez Panels

We designed the door panel to give you a location to install a speaker behind the opening. We do not cut it out since there are many sizes and manufacturers of speakers. We tend to install a 6 inch speaker behind the door panel and mount the actual unit on the door shell. If the speaker magnet is large or deep they will need to have a spacer to mount on to give the window track clearance when fully dropped. I have seen some customers mount the speaker on the door panel itself. I'm not sure how well that works, but they did cut a large enough hole for the magnet. I tend to believe that if the speaker is mounted on the door panel it will cause the door panel to rattle, but I have not tested it.
