I just bought your spindles and haven't put them on yet. Are you saying that there is a loss in backspace running your spindle without the the rest of Tru turn system or is it a wash between spindles and stock steering arms? I was expecting to be able to run 5" backspace.
The max backspace you could run with stock steering arms is 4.5". I'll get you some pics. If you run the tru turn system you should be fine going with that much backspacing.
