I see you have a replacement rear window filler panel you primed. It's been with my experience most vinyl top cars would typically rot in the seam of that panel. My car is originally a vinyl top car and it had some pretty bad rot there which forced me to replace that panel. As with all reproduction panels, it needed tweaking to fit right up against my NOS quarters.

My computer won't read my memory card for some reason, so I haven't been able to make any updates on my car. I've been making progress though.

The filler panel rusted from water sitting in the lip under the weatherstripping was glued. I know now to use the self leveling sealer in this area to prevent water from getting between.
Hey, did you ever get the parts from that warehouse deal? I saw you got one mini tub in, how's the other one coming along? I haven't ordered mine yet.

Self-leveling seam sealer where? In the rear window filler panel to quarter or in the trunk weatherstrip seam area?

I have the mini tubs done. I still need to attach the passenger side trunk support brace and then make the closeout pieces at the package tray area. I'm thinking about making a panel that closes off the trunk completely from the interior compartment, so not ready to finish that part yet.

I do have the new part here. Ready whenever you are

In the trunk weatherstrip lip where the rear filler and the speaker shelf meet needs self leveling seam sealer.

Congrats on the mini tubs
Thanks on the gas cap ... I won't forget!

I know money doesn't grow on trees but your lucky down in Texas you have Camaro parts growing on trees. If you wait longer do they turn from green to another color when they're ripe?? It looks like you did a nice job laying down the primer.

Yeah, these parts will go from green to GOLD when ripe I have had my DeVilbiss HVLP gun for 15 years and I keep telling myself I need a new one, and every time I spray something new it comes out perfect No need to change I guess.

Thanks for noticing!

I had forgotten that your car was gold. You have mentioned it a couple times lately and that reminded me that was a commonality we had, except mine was Ash gold being a '68.

You should be very proud of that tree. If you have anything small like a sidemarker bezel or bracket off of it you don't need ship it to MN!

I could plant it. We'll see if it takes. I'd water it real well, it is farm country.... Similar growing season and climate really.

Keep up the great work Chief! A little every day is a tough oath to keep but I am trying to get there.

Yeah thanks, I think that tree is a 67 only year, as of yet - no marker lights, sorry

Little everyday is right - colonoscopy this morning and I'm sitting on the porch with a grey scotch brite scuffing the intake and the water pump for the third coat of POR15
Just gotta get done ... might as well be now!
