But this rear end has been a nightmare from the get go. First it was SAR overfilling it and taping it for a vent in the wrong place...

BTW --- In talking to Jeff Kugel at L A Roadsters show.... I finally figured out that STEVE'S AUTO RESTORATION put the vent on the GEAR SIDE (ring gear) of the housing which - of course - flips the grease all over the f'n place.... and the VENT should have been installed on the back side of the housing, which would be the flat side of the ring gear...

Once again - SAR can build a show car -- but nothing you'd ever be able to actually DRIVE....

This winter I'll pull the housing and put a proper vent in.
