Now that you mention it, I remember that thread. I have no idea where to get something like that though. Maybe McMaster Carr? You might be able to make it using a small grommet that'll let a bolt bass through. You'd have to seal the bolt to the grommet though. Maybe use the sealant you'll use on the tank cover. Use washers on either side of the grommet and it should seal together when tightened down.

Yeah I may have to do something like that. You would think something like that would be a common, easy to find part.

Dash pad is finally in, I should have the gauges all wired and installed this weekend

finished up alot of the interior wiring today, got the speakers installed and radio working as well...

How did you change that dash to the earlier style?
Just a dash pad change?

yeah, just a pad change. We didnt really like the squared off design of the 80 camaro dash/instrument cluster. Early second gen dash's look alot cooler
