A few pics from the end of the day.





Rob is still working out the ideas for the inner fenders and possibly down bars from the firewall to the frame. The shock towers and most of the inner fender will definitely go. We just left it in for strength during transportation.



Pretty good shot of the frame rail to pinchweld difference. Not too bad considering it was a unibody car and we were able to get a 3.5" - 4" frame rail in place.

Phil cut those shock towers out! You can board it up w 2x4s for transport

We would have to use marine grade wood for this vessel, and that stuff gets expensive!

I have some great ideas for hydraulic bow and stern thrusters driven off the dry sump pump.... should help in an oversteer situation... understeer, not so much.


Nice job Phil and crew!


My bet is - when this bad boy gets finished and is sitting somewhere - it draws three times the crowd Danica gets.
