Congratulations Marcus that chassis looks almost as sweet as my RS

That should be a butter smooth ride with the IRS out back.

What are your plans for finish? Powdercoat? What color?

Well Scott, my car would have been finished this summer had I not sold my motor and bought the Kenne Bell supercharger. Now, I need to get my block which will be an RHS 427. So, that will set me back to next summer. But, I'll have the my new motor by August or September.

Rob, you just can't beat an RS chassis. That is, unless it's mines sitting next to it. As far as finish, it will be powdercoated charcoal grey. The control arms and all of the other small pieces (and there are alot of them) will either be black or silver.

The body is on the chassis, but my builder sent me three, hazy cell phone pics that I dare not post. I told him to email them to me, otherwise I won't be able to go by the shop until Thursday. I'm at the fire station all day tomorrow.

No way Scott, your's is too nice. I'm jealous of yours because you did you own work. I have not a single fab skill bone in my body.

Thanks Eric, I enjoy your Youtube videos on your Chevelle.

Yeah, I like Alabama, but you guys drive too slow on those country back roads for me. I'm from the city where I'm used to doing 85 mph on the freeway. LOL!! You should take a trip up to their shop. It's only about an hour and a half from Birmingham. Straight up 65 North.

Yeah, I remember, but I didn't know it would be almost an eternity building, but I'm very pleased with it.

Thanks Tone!!
Trust me as much as I'm in Dallas/Richardson area we'll catch up soon, you keep up the good work on the Ol Velle and I'll see you soon.

Howard

The body is bolted to the chassis. Measurements are being taken for the trunk fabbing to begin next. Let the cutting and welding of metal begin!!

Here are a few at the possible ride height. We are still playing with a few inches here and there.
