Thank you Al ... sometimes the light gets smaller, is that bad?

Spent some time with the Camaro .... welded up most of the driver's side drip rail channel, that took longer than I thought, might have been easier to shave the drip rails

I wanted to get ready for some epoxy on the roof and b pillar and then noticed the factory black on the underside of the roof ... well time to make a big mess and get all down to metal so that is what I did today.

This was my view for finishing the channel ... shadow grinding?

Underside is all done.... My arms are tired now.

This is how she looks now!

I welded up the holes in the front header panel and dressed them up. and every time hit the topside with the disc all I could smell was mouse pee and rust
I plan to spray epoxy as soon as I get the pass side channel touched up ... and the weather is warmer.

Thanks for looking ...

I must have OCD to keep this up, but I started out to do the right thing, not the easy thing .... so that's what keeps me going.

Thanks for looking ... should I get a roll bar in while the roof is off? I'm thinking it would be better to weld and such. The roof is on the way ....

Thumbs up Good Camaro Day

Got some epoxy sprayed Finally, seems like my camaro has been naked for some time ... not any more.

Finish with the POR15 on the front header that was rusted and the rest just cleaned up with the fiber disc .... which was really good. Took most of the day to prep and spray two medium coats but it is done and came out good.

I sprayed the firewall, inside both the side cowls, top and bottom of the roof bows, drip rails, package tray and the back seat area of the quarters.

On to some pictures ... mostly one color now

Just too kool

Top bow all better now.

Drivers side cowl!

The rear header was in better shape than the front.

Inside shot of cowl

Passenger side cowl all better!

So that is what I did today and now I must study for a Stats 512 test ....

Thanks for looking ...

I still think you are way ahead of my timeline .... I would like to be done with the body work by summers end and working on suspension and subframe, etc.

I went back and looked at page 1 pictures .... what a difference!
