Default Fuel tank

Have had a busy weekend .Spent Saturday with my son making a custom alloy fuel tank .Being a Sheetmetal fabricator he made it look easy using a Cad cutter , all the pieces were cut to size and then folded . Another 4hrs welding and fitting it up. Here are some photos of its last fit up before having the lid welded in place . It has a surge tank for the pump to sit in and baffles to stop fuel from leving the pickup . He has also built in a baffle to stop fuel sloshing back up the filler under acceleration . Sunday was spent fitting the driver side extractors what a job .They are all seperate pipes but not a lot of room with a FE in a mustang engine bay i mean tight .

It has been a while since i last posted as i have been waiting on parts to arrive from the USA . The dual pass Afco radiator has arrived which we are fitting up with a Ford taurus thermo fan the highest cfm fan available .My son is making a new alloy shroud and mounting brackets.I have fitted up the aircon condensor which came from a late model falcon which is a perfect fit with the radiator .Found a small alloy oil cooler at the wreckers for the power steering as the extractors run very close to the steering box will post some photos soon . Hope to have the new exhaust fitted next week ,then it is running all the electricals and fuel lines .Getting closer to firing it up

All the pulleys are now fitted with 120 amp alternator to run all the electronics. Steering wheel i am really impressed with looks a treat fitted in the car. The Afco radiator just fits between the rails will make a new aluminium shroud and will remove the fan from the plastic taurus shroud and fit it up these fans are said to be a good piece i am told it will have its work cutout in a hot queensland summer .The condensor is full width of the radiator and i have fitted a small oil cooler for the power steering .
