Default 275 Font tire size 69 camaro?

Anvil said I would be able to fit a 295 tire on a stock sub-frame but with their widened carbon inner fenders..sound right?
I was looking to just put a 275-35-18 on my car with the anvil carbon fenders. I have a stock sub-frame, tubular a-arms, 2" g-force drop spindles, wilwood disk brakes.. will be buying a new set of forgelines wc3's with a 10" wide up front. Any advice?

Go with a backspace of 5.5".

That doesn't sound right to me. My understanding is that the front tire width on a 69 Camaro is limited not by inner fender clearance, but by the stock subframe itself.

To the best of my knowledge, if you get a 295 on a stock sub and you'd be (at least) one of the first in history. Hollywood Cassanova has a website showing how to get a 275 on there. IIRC that was on a 17" rim.

I'd bet Anvil's advice was limited to clearance of their inner fenders?

ahhh I would not, remember you have them magic fenders Gaetano.

You gonna need 5.625-5.750 in BS to run it right then your gonna need inner fender well, sway bar and frame mods.

Curious on the outcome of some of these projects. I'm would like to get 275's on the front. I currently have 245's up front and 315 in the rear. I have a stock subframe with DSE upper control arms and coil over. A friend recommended looking at the Anvil wide fender and inners. Planning on calling Anvil.
Any success stories to share?

Thanks,
Kevin

As said above, the tire will hit frame before the inner fenders, with a stock frame.

When you're turned at lock, how far is the tire from the frame?
