So you have 8 holes in the dash? Man that is a lot.
It's just what it says. A car that can be driven everyday if you desire and if you feel the need for speed, you can take it to an autocross or road race event and have some competitive times.

Yes 8 holes in the dash, the same number of holes Mark Stielow has in Red Devil and Mayhem.

I liked having an AFR. Once in a great while I'd develop a slight ignition missfire which showed up as the AFR going lean. I wouldn't feel the miss but it showed up.

There are no holes in the dash just yet, but yes 8 holes was the plan. Since I am finding out that a fuel pressure gauge is really not needed, I may reduce that to 7 holes.
i'd leave it 6 hole (excluding speedo/tac) and set up another or nicer ac vent. too many gauges can f up a pefectly nice dash or make it look like a MiG cockpit.

The standard 6 gauges plus oil temp to make 7.

The oil temp gauge can be wired with a toggle and you can stick senders in the trans and rear end as well. Then just flipping the switch you can cycle between engine, trans, and diff temps quickly.

There was a Stewart Warner ad that ran in the magazines in the early 80s. It was a picture in the cockpit of Swamp Rat whatever number and there was one gauge in it......oil pressure.

That's a pretty cool idea.

That is a pretty cool idea! Needless to say the oil pressure is by far the most important, correct?
