Subscribed, great looking 68! Love the color and with the stripes. Did not notice them at first. I like the subtlety.
Thanks for commenting on my thread. Looking forward to more inspiration, thank you for that.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! It's been a while since I've made any updates. Here are a few pics of where I'm at now. Mostly waiting now for parts to come in for assembly of the motor. But I needed to check the fittment of my front fenders after all of the adjustments of the doors and new radiator support. I cut and buffed all of the front clip pieces so I could attach the badging before the inner fenders go on. Got most of the engine bay wiring done waiting for the engine for final length of wires etc..
Here are the first few things to come in on the motor.
Thanks guys, that hood was a definite pain in the ass to get the same as the rest of the car texture wise. Taking my time on it paid off using the finer grit discs.
Did you get the tires yet? What size are you shooting for?
I was looking at your pictures and was wondering, are you running the bttery in the trunk? It looks like it... But i see the long black (ground ?) wire and wasnt sure why its going back to the front (if its what it does?) ??.
Keep posting pics, i love the color too! I usually am not too much of an "out of the box" kind of guy when it comes to paint schemes but i really dig yours!!
You should give us some details on what you use and the steps to get a finish like that!! I have everything to do the job (tools) but have always been afraid to try it out! .... I find it little scary, even if i do every other part of the builds myself lol!!! That one always has be braking!
Cheers!!
Lead.
